One thing I can say in regards to the touchpad is I can't wait till I can get android running on it.
I have tried several different web based flash games and none of them work that good. Angry Birds works like a champ though.
I thought I would want a tablet with the largest screen possible since I am so used to my 15.6 laptop screen. But typing is a bit of a challenge with just your thumbs like on a smartphone. Little difficult to reach all the way to the middle.
Alot of the Palm smartphone apps that are in the HP App store don't scale and stay the same size as if they were on a smart phone.
I would never of purchased this for the original price of $599, and I would not of paid the first price drop of $399 either. I am happy with my purchase at $150.00 and if I get another chance I will buy more for family.

All three that I ordered have been confirmed through HP SMB. Should be here early next week.
Just got one at the College Station Best Buy. They handed out tickets to those in line. I think they had 25-30 of each model. I was #13 in line at 7:30 this morning. They "sold out" before the doors opened at 9:00.
Same here as well... Anybody want to call them and see what is going on?!? Would be amazed if it goes through, I paid extra for the 1-day shipping so I should have it tomorrow if it's correct!
I'm wondering if it is some sort of glitch, seeing as when I initially ordered I did not get any confirmation. Now I get confirmation saying I ordered it today, which is not true...

Their page says they were sold out on Monday, and when I check the status online it says processing, so I'm guessing it's still not going through

I think they are going to try to fill as many online orders from new stock before distributing more to retailers. That would be my guess. It would be a PR nightmare if they kept shipping out to retailers before attempting to fill online orders from their own website.
Some guy living in College Station bought a Touchpad in Oklahoma City that was preloaded with Android. The TouchDroid group now has that build from him. That should make the process of porting much quicker.

Just got off the phone with HP SMB, they said my orders placed on saturday midnight, and sunday 11 AM would be shipped about 3 weeks after the order was placed. Kinda disappointed it's going to take so long, especially after hearing some people ordered after me already have their shipping info.
