I always get a little nostalgia for this movie but from the little I actually remember I'm afraid that watching it again might ruin it for me.

I did this a few months ago... Was worried about the same thing, but the duck prevailed!

Those are worth about 40-50 bucks each if they are really NM

You want to ruin all your childhood favorites completely? Watch them with your kid. My son laughed through half the movies that scared the crap out of me as a kid, and also made fun of all the sci-fi stuff we watched too.
