I thought maybe around 10k, then saw all the people in the upper deck as I was walking up the stairs. And I'm bad at estimating. Good crowd though.
I'm bad at estimating as well. I swear I thought she was of age!

Spring game attendance when we still had Veishea were generally 5K or under. I know, I attended a few. Veishea did nothing for spring game attendance. Zip, zero, zilch
Tailgating was WAY above average, especially the amount of people I saw drinking (heck yeah!). Think a great many stayed outside the stadium, can't blame them with that weather. Folding chairs were more comfortable yesterday
I can blame them. The program needs their butts inside the stadium to make an impression on recruits and create a momentum for fan following. Cyclones over drinking. Geesh. . . .

I, for one, was the member of my group ushering folks out of the lots in order to catch the first of the action. I'm in reference to the students that would normally be in their respective lot. If you want to ask intoxicated minors looking for a mate to go into the game instead, be my guest.
I should say I'm with you on this point though for the general public. Couple good years should only increase spring game attendance.
Given a vote, I would choose to close the gates at halftime in the fall, not allow spectators to come back in once outside the fence.
