Some of us dont want to get too ahead of ourselves about the basketball program based off 13-2 record against crap shoot teams.
Has nothing to do with 13-2 start. Just my confidence in him as a recruiter and coach.

Can someone change my answer to the drowning kittens option?
now that you see its a public poll you gotta protect the image Al?![]()
Can't compare GMac to Coach Fred.
Fred's style of play isn't the paint drying type of play we have seen the past 4 years.
I usually support any coach long enough to get their players in.
I think that no matter how Fred's coaching career turns out here at Iowa State he will always be loved by Cyclone fans.
But, I honestly can't see how he won't be successful in turning this program around with his basketball experience and knowledge, his recruiting abilities and his excellent coaching staff. And I mean look at his life. He has been successful at everything he has ever done.
I'm just kind of disappointed in myself for even believing that Fred could possibly do wrong. It was a lapse in judgment, and I apologize.
Exactly. Can't compare as GMAC was an Iowan but was never a True Cyclone. Fred is Clone to the Bone.
its an honor that your first post was so you could vote to drown some kittens
Before I vote, someone please explain the difference between "2-3 crappy seasons" and "4-5 Gmac seasons". Aren't we drawing some very fine lines, there?
I went with 5+ since I generally like cats. Now if it would've been Fred drowning babies, I would've went with that. Cats>Babies.

I think you misunderstood the question. We are talking about baby cats.
