Biggest disappointment so far is the lack of points. The Iowa game - no touchdowns. The Texas game - no touchdowns. Nebraska - two touchdowns. Toledo, the worst rush defense in the nation, was our high point at five touchdowns. That needs a vast improvement for Oklahoma. Where is Forest Gump?

I think we will surprise people and be in the game early before getting blown out in the 2nd half. The halftime score will be something like 17-10 OU, with a final score something like 45-17 OU.

Well Mac Brown took it easy on the school he used to coach at. His friend Gene Chizik.

Bob Stoops hates us being a former Hawkeye (he should anyway). They beat Texas and so I will put them at 60-7. It would have been 60-10 but I think Shaggy misses an easy one.

Oops, I read the post title too fast, thought it was "how many will they score on us."

Um, they'll beat us 66-21. It'll be 24-14 after the 1st qtr, giving us a GLIMMER of hope, then... the beatdown will come :(

Stoops quote back on Nov 10th regarding McCarney, "It's unfortunate. I hate that for him, his family and his team," Stoops said. "That's part of our business. But I have the greatest admiration for Dan. He's always been a great leader and mentor to me and a close friend."

I'm expecting Stoops to get some vengeance for ISU letting Dan go.

OU wins 70 - 7.

I think we're going to get a couple TDS even if we let up 6-7 TDs

I'd say we score 10 at the most. I really don't see us having a score of anything above that because we haven't been able to move the ball against weaker teams than OU. I'd say somewhere around 49-10 or 63-10.

Stoops hates ISU and will score as many points as he can. The last visit to Ames he pounded us 63-7, with our lone TD coming on a late Billups INT return. I'm guessing no points and about five to six turnovers by our starting offense. Arnaud or Bates will get some late points in garbage time. Oklahoma has always had our number and will completely beat the crap out of us. Prediction: 66-7

I'm going to have to go ahead and take a crack at 77-3. This is not going to be a pretty game - I see Stoops looking to humiliate us in every aspect of the game - this may be the last chance he gets to do so seeing that all of us expect significant improvement from the Cyclones by the time we play them next 3 years from now.

Yeah Bobbie Stoops is a dandy all right...they don't call him "run it up stoops" for nothing.

I'll go with 63-10....With the ten coming late in the game when the okies have their scrubs playing.

:wideeyed:Man, this is gloomy (as well it should be).

It reminds me of that episode of "Coach" where Luther wins a free dinner for choosing the correct score of the Minnesota State game, which they lost 44-3. Hayden Fox says something like, "Try and be positive." Luther said, "I was being positive. I threw in the 3 to be positive."

I hope we can put up double digit points. I think we will, but this could be ugly. I predict 34-10. We won't look as bad as last week. We couldn't, could we?
