Instead of the "go home you're drunk" replies why doesn't someone prove me wrong? Show me stats against decent teams this year that say he's a star. I'll wait.

He's a consensus top 25 player in the country. Log off go home you're drunk.
 
Calling out a student athlete that has done as much as Mr. Niang has done for this team and university is certainly a bad move on the OP's part. Something I have a personal problem with.
I could ask him,the OP... to make his name public,as I have, and maybe meet with him on Saturday...but I doubt he has the balls to meet me in Hilton. Or anywhere...Let all of CF show up for all I care.

Again, he was the 3rd best player last year. Hogue also dominated Uconn, doesn't mean he's a star. Show me this year.
 
I think dropping all that weight might take away from his inside game a little bit, but overall I think he is still playing pretty well. He's getting more attention from the defense now and I think that was part of his success last year was that we had Kane and Ejim for a defense to worry about, plus Naz shooting the triple.
 
So if Derek Jeter goes hitless two games in a row he's not a star? That's pretty much what you are saying. No one will doubt Niang hasn't had a rough few games but c'mon man.

He's a star, but FTW has a point. Stars step up big when a team needs them to. He hasn't been there this month. He'll get it together, not doubt. But he isn't there right now.

Those pulling up his stats aren't realizing how everyone was able to pile up their stats against our crappy non-con.

26 points, 6 rebs, and 8 assists against Arkansas. 16, 6, and 7 against Iowa.

Also leads the team in ppg, third in rpg, and second in apg.

I'm not sure why I'm trying because I have a feeling those aren't good enough for you.
 
All I wanted was subjective responses with numbers to prove me wrong if I am. Love the guy he is our leader, my point was that our expectations are too high for him. Thank you ISU Cubs for a real response. Respect your opinion.
