If I saw that well in advance, I'd speed ahead and try to get their attention. Otherwise, I would hang well back.

I would actually try and get ahead. That is a clear danger in the making, and if your in front, there is not risk to you. If your behind that, then there could face the aftermath of said damage.

I'm probably not going back. I'd call the police and maybe pull over a bit ahead to see if they need a statement or something. But I'm not going back there. No chance that's safe with the bridge being damaged and high speed traffic coming up on the accident.

Yeah, the bridge, if you hit it then it warns you that your bed was raised.
