I was in a noisey bar and couldn't hear the game. And with no names on the jerseys, I didn't know who was playing at times. Did reserves get a lot of playing time in the second half. And if so, who. Thanks,

I agree with you on needing names on the jerseys. Why is that so hard for us to get accomplished. Hard to tell who is playing, especially because there are two of many numbers, one offense and one defense. They need to bench the two freshman wide receivers for a while also, till they learn to CATCH the balls when they are thrown right to them. We have better receivers. Must be part of the recruiting deal that they get play time or something.

I couldn't agree more! One of the greatest virtues of CF is what normally is a group of fans that are reasonable and sensible. Feel like I have gone over to HN and reading posts when opening some of these threads.

We now have fans that think Gene has lost control of the team, want freshman kicked off the team, we have arm chair qb's that now know a game plan better than Chiz et al.

I can't believe what is evolving here...

Yeah I know don't read if you don't like it...

It costs money to put names on jerseys. Obviously the fans are not paying enough. If we want to have names on our jerseys like all the other big-time programs do, it's time for the fans to step up and pay as much as fans of big-time programs pay. I suggest that anyone wanting to buy a ticket for any game be required to donate $3 to the "jersey name fund" with each order, beginning with the 2009 season.

No names on the jersey's is definitely why we have lost the last 2 weeks.

I really hope you are joking, really!

I am joking. But I hope Jamie Pollard doesn't read this, or we'll all be paying an extra three bucks next year.
thank goodness...your sarcasm wasn't clear enough through the interwebs.

Beth, you really need to get out of the paint booth a little more often and give yourself at least 30-45 minutes of fresh air before posting.

I can almost smell the paint now?????

For all of this, there is a simple three letter response.

W...T...F

Back to the subject at hand; I looked at the statistics and looks like we played 34 reserves while UNLV played 18 (not including kickers). This may be part of the reason why we looked so much better in the second half.

the reason there are no names on the back of the jerseys is Ciz and Co. want the players to know the name on the front is much more important than the name on the back. The team comes first.
