How can you doubt Rhoads tomorrow?

It's not CPR's fault that the B12 scheduled a home game for the 8th week...he'll just have to overcome that obstacle!

Doubt is easy, team was not ready for the Texas game, adjustments not made in the Baylor game. The defensive game plan for Mizzou was awful. The only constant the last 2.5 seasons is not being consistent.

Is CPR the right guy? I sure think so but these *** whoopings need to stop.

Both were road wins. Irrelevant fact. Got to compare apples to apples.

We didn't have bye weeks the last 2 years, either. And I'm sure the lunar cycle has something to do with it, too.

I dont doubt Rhoads, but they have superior talent. Hopefully they have a terrible second half like they had earlier in the season.

This is called "sandbagging". He's just waiting for the Aggies.

He is undefeated (2-0) in week 8 games. Nebraska (2009) and Texas (2010). Coincidence I think not.

I suppose it wouldn't surprise me.

But to be surprised, I have to actually be surprised.

Which means I can't hope to expect it.

In both "Rhoads Shocker" games in '09 & '10, I tuned in, thinking, "I'm going to watch until this gets out of hand" — reason for my pessimism — 2009, playing at Lincoln with two injured backfield starters at a venue where the average score in the previous 30 years was in the 49-7 range (maybe even worse!). 2010 at Texas, where ISU had never won, came after two puke-inducing blowout losses.

So this one fits the "I'm not expecting much" blueprint, I suppose.

If I were Mike Sherman... I think my gameplan going into this game would be to not throw one single pass today. After watching tape of us against Missouri, and with Gray running the ball for you, why would you even attempt a pass?

Could A&M actually run the ball for over 400 yds against us? We'll see.

The last three weeks have been the Paul Rhoads Pacing Program. It's like the old rope-a-dope on a bigger scale.

We've had some highs, we've had some lows. Right when we wonder if we can't hope anymore, here he comes with a huge win!!!!
