People are taking this all way too seriously. Who cares. Honestly. I think the whole damn thing is funny, personally. We should all have far more important things to be upset about.
I said above that I apologize and realize that your aviator is actual Dekkers. Sure was a canny likeness though. I do disagree that the douche bag needs congratulated though. He was an idiot.
Also, congrats on the weight loss but in the pic you share you said 40 more pounds to go. I don’t think that is necessarily.
Two things can be true.
1. That guy is a knucklehead for yelling at Campbell.
2. Campbell took a look in the mirror and thought "Why am I trying to pick fights with fans when we lost to a MAC school?"
How important was it? Who knows, but I do think Campbell thought about the moment for a bit. He has stayed at ISU due to his love of the fanbase and the support we give him. He cares about the fans. For a man who preaches "control what you can control," he lost control over a knucklehead comment. And it goes without saying, if you boo the team or yell things like that, you are a knucklehead.

And yes, the guy is an idiot. Chose to ridicule than to cheer on the team.
For me it was the opposite. I know, poor skinny boy, but I couldn’t gain weight and was always too skinny. Until I got laid off from work in 2018. Got a nice severance that lasted a year and the wife and I had very specific plans to find a life outside of Iowa. But that took 9 months to achieve. In those 9 months I ballooned to 220 lbs (all my lazy asses fault). Once the weight is on, and being much older, it’s hard to get rid of. A change in lifestyle is what it took for me. Actually working again after 9 months was a lot of it, but a change in lifestyle was the big contributor. Working out regularly and changing eating habits took me back down to around 180 where I’m at now. It’s great because before I was a 165lb skinny guy to 180 and fit. It’s actually crazy to think about now that I’m writing it all out that I went from 165 to 220 in 9 months simply because I sat on my ass and ate a shitload of bad food the whole time

This is why the premium thread is worth it. Most takes are understood as sarcasm and most topics are debated like normal conversations.
The point I was making was that a poster basically said in jest that "we should thank him" meaning the hot seat guy since it possibly lit a fire under MC and we've been good ever since. Clearly the guy wasn't literally saying the hot seat guy is why we turned a corner...it was a freaking joke.
Then not one but TWO cf posters that live their life on this board called him an idiot. Lol I mean, this board is something else.
