This seems like a logical place for me to admit that I have a degree from the University of Iowa. Now carry on.

I'm an engineer and pulled that out at a public meeting being a smart ass to the County Attorney (also in his early 30s at the time) because he is lazy and started asking me to convert cfs into gpm for no apparent reason other than to appear to sound smart. All of the commissioners got it, but it went right over his head.

No further questions were asked and it was a 5-0 vote 5 minutes later after at least a dozen neighbors spoke against the project (gravel pit). One of my greatest achievements to date.
