I suppose that could be spun the other way as well. Fans who did not see any CapCity games could be curious to see new players, we shall see! I'll take D-Jack in the 3 point contest again.
I agree. Personally I'm more interested this year to get a first look at all of these new guys.
That sucks .... that is the same night as the annual Order of the Knoll reception. Poor coordinating by ISU.
How long are these events for other schools? The whole thing feels super rushed with trying to fit in introductions, 3 point contests, a dunk contest and a scrimmage in only an hour. Excited to be back in Hilton though.
Never been to it, but from what I gather, it's 100% free to the public, both Mens and Womens, and not sure about the meet and greet.
No tickets needed, just walk right in. It starts with player introductions, both coaches make a speech, then the 3 pt contest, dunk contest, and the scrimmage. It makes for a fun night. I think the past few years the players have stuck around a while for autographs and such. If you're coming for the KU game the next day, you could make a nice weekend out of it.
Guys, with THT in town for this one along with all of the current 2018 kids, I really hope we can show out and have a good crowd. The current players deserve it, as they are taking the reigns in what will likely be a tougher year following a tremendous run.
I want the new kids to see what this fanbase is. I'll be there with the fam (they do a great job with kids) and it's not much of your time. Help build the future of the program by showing these guys how great it is to be a Cyclone.

I agree. Hope we can get a good turnout! Just wish it wasn't Friday night because so many of us have local schools with high school football activities. Am I the only one that liked it after the Sat. football game so people could go right over to Hilton after the game? Maybe there is another event tho, or it didn't go over as well as Fri. night, idk.
I am confused by this one.. Fans will be driving from all over Iowa to watch.. fans participate? When the event is only an hour to begin with, why are they trying to involve fans? To me the event is supposed to be about the team.

In my opinion, an hour is just right. I don't think anyone wants to stick around longer than that.
