Okay help me out here please.

Gridiron Club has Double Occupancy member trip for $3560 and each additional occupant is $1340. 4 days/3nights stay with taxes and gratuities. So if I am a GIC member I get this price. Now I have a family of 4 and need 4 tickets.
#1 $1780
#2 $1780
#3 $1340
#4 $1340
Total $6,240

The New York Sheraton has rooms available for $298 a night. $298 x 3=$894
United Airlines round trip flights $560 x 4=$2240 4 tickets @ $115=$460 Now this route adds up to $3,594. I understand that I don't have taxes and gratuities in here and don't have cabfare/transportation fees while out in New York. How much will that cost?

Does the GIC do more things while out there at no extra charge that i'm not aware of? I'm new to this all and want some insight from you all. It's a big difference in price to do the GIC route. Or am I missing something? Please advise.

Pretty sure GIC does a private charter flight, bus w/ escort to/from the game, pregame events, take care of all luggage, transporation to/from airport to hotel, etc. You pay a bit more but they handle the "stuff" so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

when i looked at the NY Sheraton it says not available. what dates are you looking at to get 298/night

I had been told there is a block of rooms available starting today for that price. Don't know how many though.

Depending on the ages of the family members, it may be worth the extra $600 per person - transportation to the game is taken care of - the flight is taken care of - the company is excellent - tips and gratuities (which are insane in NY) are taken care of.

If you want to go cheap - stay in Jersey and take the train in. Obviously cab rates differ at all times of day and distances, but a decent rule of thumb is to estimate that you'll be drop $50 every time you sit down in a cab. There's generally a flat rate of $45 in NY for any cab ride from the airport to Grand Central, for example.

So, if you plan on taking the cab from the airport to the hotel, the hotel to the game and the game to the hotel and then back to the airport, that would be about $200. So even with cabs and cheap flights, you can certainly do this game for cheaper than the Club rate.

Put it simply, you are paying for a different experience when going on the Gridiron Club charter. If I was going by myself, I'd go cheap, but if I have to manage a family of four (and have the $ to do it) I'd be dropping the cash on the Gridiron Club, no questions asked.

What tips and gratituties are they talking about?? I'm assuming the hotel staff....anything else?

We booked the land only with the gridiron and bought our own plane tickets. It saved us a bit of money. And after thinking about it, we decided that staying in Manhattan would be worth it. Less wasted time and since it is our first time out there, it will be worth it to be close to a lot of the attractions we want to see.

Going to do the GIC route. Nonstop charter, no hassle feeling, amongst all other cyclONE fans on the flight, the excitement of the game, staying the 31st for New Year's Eve in New York City(which i'm sure my family will never get this opportunity again) and everything else that comes with the experience will be PRICELESS!!!!

ALL IN BABY!!!!!!

NEW YORK, get your popcorn ready, the CYCLONES are "coming to your city!"
