I just got a call from my grandparents who are down in Oklahoma City going to the game tonight. They said they heard Heather broke her hand in practice last night? Has anyone else heard this? Is this true?

Heather needs no hands to tear down the opposition. I hope its not true, but if it is, hopefully its her non shooting hand.

Something like that would have been known by now. No mention during the wbb games today, no info on any other site...

I heard she is getting surgery done at the same doctor that fixed Rick Stanzi's arm before the ISU v. Iowa game. He works miracles.:jimlad:

First time poster here and was directed to this site just recently as it has a lot of "scoop" on ISU athletics. My daughter knows some of the girls so I hate to report this:

She was injured in practice prior to leaving for OKC and is not expected to play tonight. Sad for a kid that has done so much to be missing out on this tournament potentially. If I remember correctly, she had an awesome tournament last year. Just hoping TX fans aren't reading these boards! Our Lady Cyclones can still get a win though.

Serious injury? Will she back in time for NCAA Tournament?

I considered asking Mechelle Voepel on her live blog whether she'd heard anything about this, but I figured on the off chance it was true and Texas didn't already know about this I'd just keep my mouth shut.

That really sucks.

Someone please cue up the ISU fan getting kicked in the private parts picture.

And along with that, someone start a CyBookie on how many of the wrestlers will be injured or somehow otherwise be unable to compete by the time the NCAA tourney rolls around...

Very sad for Ezell...
