One thing that was floated out there on false starts was WSU simulating cadence or snap signals for our offense. They had been called for it in two other games.

This is what I assumed as well. Based off of the incompetence shown by the officials, can’t say I was surprised they never called it

I was at the game and I kept noticing how their D line would shift left or right just before the ball was snapped. I thought it was pretty clear they were causing our guys to false start. I was assuming that someone on defense was barking out a command to shift because the whole line shifted in unison. Had to be very distracting for our O line. Made me wonder if it was legal.

They've done that all season.

In CMC's presser, he said Newell was having a hard time hearing the cadence. CW also mentioned that on his podcast. Everyone was half a beat off of Newell.

I feel like there's an easy joke about water quality in Ohio that can be made, but I'll let it slide.

Yea we are all mutations...actually, no burning rivers for most of my lifetime. But, Ohioans joke about Kentuckians not wearing shoes. There is a reason all Ohioans usually do. Your imagination needed.
