Big ten is a low level conference in baseball, they really aren't competitive with the southern schools at all anymore. Michigan maybe once in blue moon, it's really not the same level at all.

The Big10 is at best a mid major in baseball and softball. The selection committee knows it. These large school teams would get smoked in the true southern mid major conferences.

I like how all the fans are saying Michigan should have got disqualified for the pitcher using a foreign substance. Ummm I’m the history of baseball no team has ever been disqualified when a pitcher gets caught. Yet they want all of baseball to change the rule book for this game. I think Iowa State needs to adopt a sport that nobody cares about, and that we are average to below average at best at, and try to pretend that it's a big deal, and we are elite.
