Hawkeyes starting safety transferring

CyTwins can't lose Derpycy, he is the only one left that will try to argue with him. He won't have much of a life if he loses that.

You are probably right if I quit posting Cytwins will have nothing left.

You asked if iSu had a better program than OU because iSu beat them on the field. I replied that I can’t tell you without knowing how you define the quality of a program.

So what makes one program better than another and are you willing to use that consistently?

Common sense, end of the season AP poll, recent history, etc

The financial gaps between the 2 institutions are growing not narrowing.

Over the last 10 years the financial gaps have shrunk significantly. Just wait until Comcast pulls the plug on BTN and they have to switch to subscriptions. With cord cutting the BTN's value is dropping like a rock.

How recent? How many times in the last five seasons has ISU been better than Iowa at the end of the year? In the pas ten? January 2018, we already know your opinion so we will disregard.

January 2017 Iowa clearly better as they pounded ISU that season
January 2016 Iowa clearly better. Rose bowl team and division champion
January 2015 Iowa State won that years game but Iowa had a better season and went to a bowl. ISU was horrible that year, but admittedly beat Iowa. That of course doesn’t matter in your rankings.
January 2014 Iowa clearly better. Went to a bowl game and beat ISU at Ames.
January 2013 ISU clearly better. Beat Iowa and went to a bowl game.

You have to go back six years to find a season in which ISU was CLEARLY better than Iowa. The absolute only thing you have to hang your hat on is a couple more vote in a final AP poll for January 2018. Iowa won the head to head at ISU, was ranked higher in every composite polling measure, and both teams won their bowl.

So what part of recent history favors ISU as a program? And you say you don’t troll.

Is there a foreseeable near term situation that would make the ISU TV deal more financially beneficial?

ISU was awful pre-CMC. I never said any history favors ISU as a program. I never even said ISU was the better program either, all I said was ISU was the best team in the state last year which is true

You didn’t say ISU was the better program? If not, do you agree with other Clone fans who say that ISU does have the better program?

I was answering his question on why Oklahoma has a better program than ISU even though we beat them head to head last year because that moron said head to head is all that matters

Believe I saw that Comcast is considering yanking big ten network to those not requesting it. Make it part of a package deal. Would slash viewership drastically and slice income a large amount

So you agree that Iowa is, right now, the better football program?

Comcast has never, at least to my recollection, included the BTN to subscribers on the basic package if the subscriber doesn’t live in the conference footprint. Comcast currently doesn’t want to put it on the basic package anywhere, while the BTN won’t agree to that. We will see how that works out. At any rate, the BIg Ten has a substantially better TV package than the Big 12. At least partially, maybe mostly, because of the idiots in Austin.

Iowa has been the better program for a long time now. I do think ISU has a good chance to take that spot over soon as long as CMC stays. He's an elite coach and I know you guys want him gone soon
