Not saying these guys weren't banged up, but would we be hearing about it if they'd have won? Were those three physically unable to play, or did Fran sense they were outmatched and start cooking up the sob story? Was there any discussion about this previously? Weird.

The ass kicking was so bad, it went beyond the standard blame the refs excuse. They had to come up with new excuses to justify the contract extension.

I love this, as if almost every team isn’t beat up by the end of the season. We advanced to the Sweet 16 without arguably our best player in Niang, yet somehow two dudes that average like a dozen points combined playing, but not at full health, was the downfall of this Iowa Hawkeye juggernaut in the round of 32.
Get ready for chad to spout more excuses next fall when their powderpuff football team gets beat up. It just never ends.
