Hawkeye fans are scared

Can you prove to me that buchanan county doesn't have a ton of iowa fans driving around, or several meth labs?

Sorry if this is an afront to your extended family.

Add my vote to the "Jambalaya is an idiot" bucket.

So is it poor coaching that makes Iowa under perform on the field compared to these lesser schools like Alabama?

Kurt has never been a very good game day coach. Greg Davis is not the answer either. Question remains who will make the big plays. Good/great OLs help a lot, but if there are no game breakers at skill positions, their efforts will be for naught. Iowa with Coker could run pretty well, & that opened up the passing game & McNutt thrived. McNutt & Coker gone, unproven guys are filling in on the OL, the DL is weak & no help in sight for 1-2 years, LBs are middle-pack in their conference, & 2 very good CBs are offset by 2 unproven safeties. CBs in past @ Iowa had benefit of very strong front 4. If your front 4 are very weak, doesn't matter how good you CBs are. Trust me, ISU fans know this too well. Good luck

Possibly. However, Alabama has much more depth than Iowa, especially at skilled positions. Iowa can't always weather a bunch of injuries or transfers/dropouts like Alabama could. Its certainly cost them several games over the years.

Still, there's no excuse for losing to a putrid Minnesota team back to back seasons with all that NFL talent and multiple first rounders. Can't blame anyone but the coaching staff for that.
