The Hawks are expecting to sign ex-con, Anthony "Home Invasion" Hubbard this weekend, and their fans are expecting him to be one of their top dogs, this coming season.

My question is, in order to achieve this, Anthony is going to need to establish his credibility with the rest of the team as soon as possible. So, which current Hawkeye is he going to make his *****, to show the others how dominant he is?

I just wonder if they'll stop yapping about our "thug" roster if they get him.

Not a chance. They'll come up with some line of reasoning that exonerates their jailbird, and still criticize our players. After all, hypocrisy isn't a concern as long you choose to ignore it.

Mute point

Anthony will take his jailbird game to Nebraska.

He is going to make Frannie his *****. Why not... "it" already has a girls name anyway.

RUN KID!!!!!! RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gatens, clearly.

He closely resembles your average, strung out prison trick you find out in the yard. Put the hammer down on him early to show the rest of the queens you aren't to be toyed with.

You seem to know a little too much about this subject. Anything you'd like to share?

I would have gone with Cully Payne (he looks like he could take one, ya know?), but that ship sailed.

Basabe also seems like a logical choice, but he may be too much of a power bottom, which would really throw a wrench in the Home Invasion's solid gold plan.

The word you were looking for is "moot". And I am not confident about Iowa signing this kid until he has signed on the dotted line. Until then I'm holding my breath.

How do you know when your MBB program has truly hit rock bottom? When your fanbase is praying and hoping for the signing of a 26 year old ex-con.

You better hope they had one hell of basketball training program at San Quentin.

Clone fans are really going to talk **** about a kid the Hawks bring in. 50% of Freds roster is going to be guys on 2nd and 3rd chances.

ISU fans at their finest!

None of them went to prison. Also, we can talk all we want about it - we haven't been the ones saying there is a problem with it. Just wanted to point that out to the squawks.

Hey now that is just out of line. He is ONLY 25.

You're right. Switching colleges is nearly on the same level as spending 3+ years in lockup for armed robbery.

I'm aware of moot and mute.

I fell into the trap of trying to recycle a message board funny from a couple months ago.

I am rarely one to defend a hawk, but I can't make fun of the kid. He was 17 and hopefully he has his stuff turned around. Either way talk about a risk.

When he signs with Nebraska he'll become the frontrunner for The Lawrence Phillips Humanitarian Award.
