How is integrity a jab at us?
I believe it stems from the lack of AC in the visitors coaching staff press box.How is integrity a jab at us?
Never heard anything about that. Is it something like having a pink locker room?I believe it stems from the lack of AC in the visitors coaching staff press box.

I don't think it was a terrible article, it's just a bad take. Like it or not, CGD is a big deal. And there's no need to crap all over it.
He's entitled to his opinion. One thing I'd like to know, "Did he feel this same way when Game Day made it to Kinnick for the first time?" If not, then his article is disingenuous. If so, then he is at least consistent in how he views Game Day. I think, however, that Game Day is a significant event for our program. Positive national exposure can help in a program's rise. More and more people from around the nation will take interest in the program. NOW, it's on our FB team to do its duty and beat the Hoks. Winning is NOT a necessity to "make our season," but rather an opportunity to build upon that positive exposure.
Doxsie is hardly a homer. He's made his living/career on being contrarian to an extent. Not surprising at all to see him say "no big deal" on GameDay.
Not that my opinion matters at all, but you ISU fans should just enjoy the week, the buildup and the focus on your team. It doesn't happen every week or year. I wouldn't care at all -- if I were an ISU fan -- what someone at the QC Times thought.
I'm guessing your glad your in Florida.![]()
I agree. I don't really care what the guy thinks. Just was responding to the thread.Doxsie is hardly a homer. He's made his living/career on being contrarian to an extent. Not surprising at all to see him say "no big deal" on GameDay.

Thank God we have WRNL and not these guys
Not saying it isn't a big deal, but I honestly can't remember the last time I saw CGD. I'm going to tune in on Saturday though to check it out.
Except when VanDer whatever his name was profiled and highlighted College gAmes DayI don't even see what could be in that article that would make ISU fans mad. Am I missing something? Seems he just doesn't care for the show College Gameday and said it will have no impact on what really matters on Saturday. What's wrong with that?
I just might still be around in 2050. And still tough enough to give you a ride in an ambulance.another butter filled boomer. will be sad 2 see them go. remember them in 2050 kids. they will be dust
They for some reason forget that they are actually in Iowa and their school has Iowa in the name. They think they are on some island, apart from the world of agriculture, like being in West Berlin during the cold war where you were deep behind the Iron Curtain. These asshats are totally nuts. And on Saturday they will get CRUSHED.He is just writing what a LARGE majority of Iowa fans believe to be true, that is why I cannot stand to listen to them. They think its beneath them to even play ISU, let alone actually get beat by them.
We are the pig pen, and somehow Iowa City is the Mecca in the center of the football and university world. They love ANF, but hate farmers, that says it all about IOWA, the Fake ID of college football. They play in the worst division in the P5, and then crow when they go 8-4.
I hope we crush them Saturday.
We played Good Jones who was suspended for the first game that got cancelled. They really didn't like that
