No. No, you weren't.

Yes. Yes, you do.

Also, speaking of which -- who is this "they"? I would use they, in reference to the Big 12. But this is also coming from a guy who rants about Iowa fans then states he did not attend ISU.

Big 12 wasn't as expected in postseason, yes; but Ohio State and Michigan State can't completely make up a lackluster regular season. Illinois made a bowl game last year... Illinois. The talent discrepancy between the two leagues isn't even close, and one good OSU season, or a bad Big 12 bowl season won't change that. Schools like Mississippi State and TCU have more talent than Michigan and Nebraska anymore. Its not really a Big 12 vs Big Ten argument... its North vs South, and both of our teams are suffering as a result.

I agree to a certain extent, but the single biggest reason the B12 image has taken a blow is because Texas and Oklahoma aren't playing at the level they should. Baylor and recently TCU have stepped up, but that doesn't overcome the crappy performances that Texas and Oklahoma have put together on big stages. If it is truly a North vs South thing then how in the hell do you explain schools like Texas and Florida dropping completely off the map?

Let's clear this up, hawk. Put up or shut up. Where is the evidence? I already know what it says. I posted an article earlier in this thread with much of that info in it. I have since looked up last year's games vs power 5 conferences.

My god the big ten sucks. That is an undeniable fact based on results.

As for being an isu fan, I have been a fan since elementary school and watched Crutchfield and the rest play.

Hawk fans may want to stay away from the graduated college bit. That hasn't gone so well for you so far. And most hawk fans didn't go to Iowa.

BTW I have more reason to be an isu football fan than just about anybody except someone who played there.

What is your reason for being an iowa fan? Did you play football for iowa? If not, then I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be questioning any body's reason for being a fan of any team.

They lost their easy games vs Mississippi State, TCU and Baylor. Those teams have rosters which can compete for championships. They should be playing Illinois and Nebraska if they want easy games.

I thought the #1 way to mock many Iowa fans was to ask if they went to school there. I'm glad to hear it's different for your fanbase (that's a recurring theme).

Glad to know you've been a lifelong ISU fan. That's, like, a really long time. Like, totally long. Like, that's awesome, dude.

As far as evidence - what more evidence do you need than pairings with out of conference foes at the end of the season? B12 was 2-5. To say the B12 was good all season long is a lie and you're dissecting the season if you don't include the bowl results - when it really matters, and when teams are at their peak.

I feel like a lot of us alums and donors to the University would disagree. Football is the front door of the university and plays a huge role in bringing alums back to campus and their particular departments of study. I'd agree that current and former ISU football players are the #1 stakeholder in the program though.

OK, there's a mod in here....since the gif's haven't worked, can we get this moved to in-state rivals where it belongs? This is completely an ISR slapfight.

Yes, please! Like I posted yesterday, this needs moved to In-State Rivals
