Hason and Jones cannot be on the court at the same time. I like depth at the 5, but the other one of them is not your 4.
Lipsey, Gabe and Holmes with them crashing the glass isn't terrible. Especially if we're driving/pick and roll.
Of course they aren't the 4. They would alternate at the 5. My 4's are Tre King and Omaha, and Watson can play there too.
We are going to need Ward again tomorrow evening against the Jayhawks. They are fixing to paste it on the Mountaineers right now.

Agreed. With Omaha and Milan we should be OK I think. I sometimes think going to the transfer portal frequently can burn you too. Obviously we’ve had luck with most, but getting these high school recruits being heralded or not is fun to watch develop for a bit.
Biggest thing is they need some guard scoring to replace Kalschuer, Holmes and Grill. Lipsey will only get better and Williams should be a good 2 that can flip over and run point at times. They need two more guys because I don’t think you can depend on King and Hamilton for major minutes.
I do agree that if Ward and Jones return, the 5 doesn’t look bad. I’d still prefer to find one more though.

I hope he stays around for next season. He could be an elite energy guy off the bench and give us 15 mins
Lipsey and Williams better work on their shots if both are gonna be on the floor at the same time. Watson also. If those 3 start shooting better Lipsey, Williams, and Watson are a good core to start with. I think Hamilton will be a surprise next season too. Honestly more impressed with the film I've seen of him than Milan.

Assuming they both return (hopefully) Jones and ward alternate minutes at 5 just like Jones and Osun did this year. Would be solid post play.

I can't get a read on Watson's handle etc. but I like him being that 3/4 type that can really screw up defenses.
I don't think he's terribly aggressive at this point. I think he just goes out there and does what he does well (extremely well): defense and rebounding. Takes a shot when it is obviously there.
I hope they let them continue to play this way as well, I think that favors us and maybe TCU
And I see some signs that there's more there if in an expanded role. Like I see Lipsey has more with some time offensively.
Imo there's potentially a nice strong core coming back next year and we may see the program really start to come together.
Milan will be more of a 4 or a 3/4, and probably not much 5 at all.
He has a similar build to someone like Will Clyburn. Different game style of course.
I've noticed lately that Lipsey has been more aggressive when teams back off on him. Hit a couple of midrange pull ups yesterday.
