If the team is winning, usually its just fine and you don't hear a thing and everybody is happy. Players deal with it as long as they feel like the coach is giving them the best opportunity to win and the best opportunity towards a professional career. When players don't feel like the coach is giving them the best opportunity to win and don't like him personally, thats when transfers happen. That's why the team has to do everything in its power to win as many games as possible every season. That's why losing even Sr's like Taylor really hurt the program beyond just that one season they will miss, thats why losing good role players like Cory Johnson hurts the program, thats why not retaining hardly any of Morgan's players hurts the program.

This entire thread is hilarious, apparently its open season on the messenger, and semi-automatic weapons are allowed. Seriously, none of this is remotely surprising at all to anyone who has been following our program. If you were gullible to buy the "I'm homesick" excuse at this point you are not the sharpest tack in the box.

The bi-polar term is funny because the same things were said about Ken Trickey and Lynn Nance.............As I have said before GMac is the Living Clone of Lynn Nance.....Couldnt ask for a nicer guy or a bigger loser....

The only thing I take away from that message about Justins dad is that basketball players and over kids today are just a bunch of whimps. Kids today cant handle if they have someone yelling or criticizing there every move. People wonder why our country is so messed up. Hey coach yelled at me, I think I will transfer. Hey my boss scolded me about some work i did. Im going to quit. Alls basketball players are in todays world are just a bunch of babies. The coach shouldnt be there to be your friend. He should be your leader and thats it. Yelling and criticism just comes with the territory. You think McDermitt is bad, play for bobby knight. He would physically abuse people, which is crossing the line, but verbal criticism and yelling isnt wrong. Do you not suppose Ben Jacobson has yelled or criticism farokmanesh at some point in time?? They all stayed and stuck with it and look where it got them.

I appreciate all of the insiders who regularly post tidbits about the MBB program. But don't throw it in our faces like we owe them something. We do not. They have their own agendas when the make information public and when they decide to withhold information (which is typically the case).

ps. Snowcraig just gave us the most telling piece of information we've received all year, and he is not an "insider".

No surprise at all. It was clear-as-day that once players step foot on this campus they with they hadn't. Players can't get away from MacD fast enough.

This^^

Plus, I guess I just learned today that one of the top insiders to the workings of the program is a 16 year old. Just that fact that somehow a kid is privy to the inner workings of our MBB program and shares info with other message board posters tells you about all you need to know that there is some jacked up leadership at the helm.
