Hamilton's dad on Greg

Why would I be? What do I have to gain? Is CW a propogandist too?

Well, you appear to have something to lose...like contacts if the current coaching regime gets canned...correct?

As for CW...did you read the first CF eNewsletter that was sent out today? You tell me? The bottom line is CW (and any other "journalist" in central Iowa) has to maintain contacts with ISU personnel or he is screwed...so they all tread very softly so they don't get frozen out of the information loop by their contacts. It's really pretty simple...isn't it.

Maybe when you get a little older you will realize that the only way to ensure that something you say will never be repeated is to not say it at all. Most adults understand that anything they tell someone else has the chance to be repeated...and in fact that chance is more a likelihood than a chance.

Which begs the question as to why people with "inside information" on the ISU MBB program (presumably from within the AD) are networking with a 16-year old in the first place. Holy bad judgment Batman...

Some of you are a joke. Does it make you feel better to turn this whole thread on the guy that's trying to defend himself? He was wrongly betrayed and has the right to stand up for himself. It's laughable that so many of you are jealous of CIMD for his knowledge. If it wasn't for guys like him, CW and KG, all of you would be in the dark with the mens bball program.

There wasn't really anything in that message that wasn't painfully obvious anyway. So why is everybody so upset. What is so private about all the players hating the coach and there is a mass exodus? That doesn't sound too inside to me. But then again, "i don't know the real story" like all of you awesome dudes

meh.

I agree. Shocking revealation that GMac has trouble connecting with his players. It is laughable that there are still people on the board trying to ignore the consistent, ridiculous turnover in players and pretend that it is either the kids, the parents, or just plain bad luck. Greg has nothing to do with it. lol

Guess we are seeing some true colors that some people with access to inside information would rather it be kept hidden so they can continue to preach their propaganda. People can make up their own minds whether a parent is biased or this is simply, finally, some shred of insight into what is going on.

Because information got out of the Good Ol' Boys Club?

I wouldn't have minded if he shared it in public. However, what you refer to as the "Good Ol' Boys Club" had a specific agreement that needed to be met to let into it in the first place. This trust specifically was violated.

I don’t think Snow should have posted this, I really don’t. However, maybe, just maybe, he let him because of the way some folks piled on Ham after he left.

hahaha. fair enough. the sad part is that i start getting angry at crappy drivers going 25 in the middle of two lanes.. then they always turn out to be asian. I feel like an uncle tom
Per google it should be uncle
tom.gif

that is the correct spelling of tom( i don't know this to be true) but you really do have some quick wit...

Once again, what the heck does my age have to do with it?

Holy pot and kettle.

Nice to hear from you kg. I find it interesting that the people that were against this info coming out are the ones that believe that McD can do no wrong. Obviously, if they are insiders they know how bad the program yet they come on here whistling sunshine and lollipops all day long.

What else is ironic is that what this Summit guy predicted is exactly what happened. Yet another mass exodus of players. Great job coach. Not only can you not coach the games, you miss on most of your recruits AND the ones that do show promise you run out of the program. Keep up the great work!

I love how you're always the first person to rag on kg. Cracks me up. You've become rivals.

In fairness, that does confirm that his son is a ***** with no mental toughness. No way Justin could play for somebody like Frank Martin. He'd cry within the first 10 minutes of practice.

Back up here...weren't most of these people trying to keep this in the dark? (Scratching my head now)

what am I missing here? He yells too much at my son and doesn't yell at Craig Brackins enough? He's too tough? I get that Justin wasn't responding to the coaching or didn't like it, but do you think Larry Eustachy or Tim Floyd were easy to get along with? Seems really like nothing new here, a parent feeling his kid isn't getting his due?

I understand player retention has been a problem, but really Ham and WJ were the only guys who left, not because of playing time. Nothing really shocking about this "accusation", IMO.

Actually I agree with this, again, not defending or bashing anyone. But a coach yelling at you like a maniac? Coaches yell all the time, Floyd and Eustachy berated people all the time.

Welcome to the real world. It happens all the time...
