Just curious, where did this information originate from? From the sounds of it, there is some secret society of Cyclonefanatic elite with some kind of vow of secrecy. You are all members of a priory or something?

Nunnery, actually.

They did. also they asked if i had so much rice jammed in my keyboard that I couldn't type correctly

Yeah and if you look your eyes will burn!!

I also agree with the poster that previously mentioned that with a solid program, we wouldn't even be considering the effect of a former player's father's comments on an obscure message on recruiting. If we had anything to sell as a program this wouldn't be a problem. Fact of the matter is that what was said by Ham's dad seems to be true, and whether or not it was supposed to end up in the public specturm, it says alot about why our program is in shambles, and why something must be done.

Ok so what's the big deal?

Seriously I watch the football coaches scream their heads off at the football players and then next thing they are trying to be all buddy buddy joking around, so whats the difference. The difference is a player (Ham) who is mentally soft, can't take coaching and let's his parents interfer with his business.

Heck, I had Skladany throw clipboards at me on the sidelines numerous times at ISU, but I still think he is one of the best coaches I have ever had. I wasn't mentally soft and wouldn't go cry to mom and dad, I sucked it up and took the coaching he was giving.

I made a rule in high school that said if my parents ever made got involved with the politics of sports and made a butt of themselves at one of my sporting events they would NEVER come watch one again. I firmly believe more people should do this.

Good post. What's sad is that most over-the-top little league parents don't see the light and reform as their little angels get older - see Craig James.

Actually it was your insistence on only typing with chop-sticks....
:jimlad:
(And not, I'm not racist, in spite of being 16)

I think the younger generation is more color blind than the 30 and over crowd. This is good trend.

haha, don't worry. it takes a lot to offend me (somehow the guy in that thread i link to did though) but seriously. I can disagree with you all day, but I don't get why people are ragging on you about being 16. you and snowcraig can battle about the real story.

can somebody say something ridiculous so I have a reason to keep hitting the refresh button?
It is starting to drag people....

How are we not like that already? Most (over half) of our plays that McD has brought in here have not stayed their full time here, but according to you, he's doing things the right way? I don't see that at all.

Easy, their players are good and leave to go to the NBA. Ours leave because our program sucks.

Hey, when I'm 35, maybe I'll be as cool, mature, and tactful as you. Until then, I'll sit here and watch Rugrats, smoke pot, insult adults, and play Frogger.

:jimlad:

Some 35-year olds still do the things you've mentioned.

I never said Mac was doing everything right. I just don't think he and the new coach should be lynched by people who have never coached a day in their lives.

Sure thing.....what snowcraig didn't post in his original post was that Mr. Hamilton also passed on the info that McD likes to make out with shetland ponies in his spare time!!!!
