Hallice is transferring

Wondering if he might be better off about dropping down a division so he could play next year. Then if he graduates there he could transfer to a D1 school for his last year.

Seemed like a guy that tried hard but also made a lot of mistakes and always defended too much with his hands. Very streaky shooter. I think he will find a better fit somewhere.

If I had to guess, cooke will probably go d2 somewhere in the tri state area(meaning ny/nj/ct) average 20+ a game graduate then go grad transfer route.

At this point Ernst isn't blind. It has been reported by news outs that he was at least considering it in the last few weeks.

You know when people were speculating about Hallice transferring a few months ago my first thought was, the only way that would make any sense was if he transferred back to Oregon State. If I recall (has been a while since I read the residency rule) the transfer residency requirement only applies to transferring to a "new school" so you can get acclimated academically. If you transfer back to a school you have already attended before I do not think you would have to sit out as you have already established academic residency there. He came to ISU because he wanted to win, Oregon State is winning now with a new coach, they like him there still, and he could have 2 full years....just a thought.

He has some game for sure. Agree he should drop down to D2. Seemed like it took a long time for him to release his shot, whereas Naz, Matt Thomas, Nader catch and shoot quickly.

You're assuming Oregon State would want him back after he bailed on them the first time. Highly unlikely.

He would have to sit if he transferred there as well. It's not an academic issue, it's an NCAA athletic participation issue. D1 to D1 = sit 1 year.

He needs to get a southern school on his resume and then finish up on the east coast.

When he committed to us, he had plenty of upside potential. Shooting 46% from 3 his freshman year had a lot of us excited. I think his hips affected him more than we thought
