Hallice is transferring

I think we'll miss his defense off the bench, unless Jackson, Babb, or Jakolby Long can fill that role?

I was always very impressed with Cooke's defense though. Good luck to him wherever he goes.

Now, if we can replace him with a "big", then I think it's an overall plus for this team. We had way too many guards for the minutes available, and this will help that.
I think Babb can be the guy to replace Hallice's defense from the guard spot.

Not surprising, after the lack of Pt, progress, and suspension last year
I'm going to be that guy. I don't think Prohm liked him very much since his suspension. Even when he would come in and outplay Ashton, Ashton would still get more minutes. Watching that unravel last year, pretty much let me know he would probably be transferring (I think I said as much on one of the threads at the end of the season). There. Go ahead and crucify me now.

Wish Hallice best of luck...he was looking at being 11th man at best so can't blame him..As for his defense some, mentioned...he was ok..DJackson, J Long and Bowie are all outstanding lock defenders..this team is going to be a really good defensive team I think.

I did like Cooke and thought him and Thomas were the only ones playing defense last year. He was also a really good passer and had a couple spectacular dimes last year. Best of luck!

I'm not convinced we'll have real good post D this year yet... Unless Lard is a complete stud or Carter has made leaps and bounds

He would have been better off transferring at semester like he originally planned. He could have been eligible second semester next year. I'm sure he's regretting staying now.

I wanted to burn my insider sources but never knew this weeks ago.

Too bad, I'm still a bit surprised because that's another year he'll have to sit out. I thought it was a little strange he was in New Jersey this weekend though.

I wondered the same. There were a lot of things on Snapchat of the team being together at practice and with Donovan Jackson while Hallice was at 'home'. Seemed like this was the time to announce after Jackson became really solid.

I agree. Just don't think Prohm and Cooke saw eye to eye on some things.

Are we talking about practice?
