Greetings, Cyclones!

I have to give credit where credit is due and Iowa is going to win 3-4 more games, compared to last season they are a good team. As for matching up to TTU's speed, am I the only one who watched them almost lose to Minnesota in their bowl game, where is this speed?
Iowa will beat Purdue, for one more win this season. They may play Wisky well, but I don't see it. Mich, NW, tOSU, and Nebby will beat them.

Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Purdue. You're saying they win 3 or 4 of those games? Michigan State's punter had more rushing yards than everyone on Iowa did yesterday. 5-7 is the most likely scenario for that team.

Texas Tech would decimate Iowa.

I take it you have not seen Iowa play this season? They are a really good team. I have not been impressed at all by your defensive line or linebackers no matter what your post says. You would struggle against Weisman. Just looking at it from an outside perspective. Didnt you struggle to beat Minnesota last season?

You must be a closet hawk fan. Thanks for giving some great laughing material.

This thread has turned into and argument about an Iowa-TT matchup that isn't going to happen. Why don't we try talking about something important; like the Iowa State-TT game maybe. Just a thought

Hate the Hawks, I just think they are pretty good this year. I see no reason they can't win against Michigan, Purdue, Nebraska. But hey I hope they lose them all.

If you have UNI in your name its probably a given.
I'm as big of an ISU homer as they come. I watched TTU get destroyed up front last season against a Minnesota team that Iowa just beat up. But ya on to this weeks game.

They have a chance against Purdue, and it will probaby be their only remaining win of the season.

Tech was decimated by injuries the past two seasons. Tech is healthy this season but for our true starting QB, Michael Brewer. So there is no comparing last season's bowl team with Tech's current squad. Tech does enjoy a 4 game win streak versus Big 10 teams. If you include Nebraska, it's an 8 game win streak. :twitcy:

I think they'll get another one in there somewhere, i could see them upsetting Michigan or Wisconsin in Kinnick
There is no way Iowa will beat either team. Wisconsin has some great receivers which will eat up Iowa's secondary. Michigan is Michigan no way Iowa beats them either. Iowa will beat Purdue!

Yep last season that happened. Last season TT had a different coaching staff as well. TT would make Iowa pound sand this year. Iowa is not good, slightly better than us at best.

Aberderies (sp?) will tear Iowa up.

OMFG can you special little snowflakes take discussion of Iowa's remaining season/what Iowa would do against TTU/whether Kirk Ferentz has changed his hairstyle/anything else related to Iowa back to the gawddammed cave? This is a thread started by a TTU fan. I'm sure he's interested in talking about the hawks....

It'd be more productive to post Mike Leach videos than to sit here and talk about whether Iowa beats Purdue or Michigan.

When it comes to injuries, we have not had more than 1 quarter of play this year without an injury on the oline. Is Lalk going to be back for this game by chance?

Simple solution don't open said thread. You might have a hard time grasping that idea though. And when has anything posted on a message board been productive?

I think we can all agree that we (ISU) have improved GREATLY since the first two games of the season. I have every reason to believe we will continue to improve as we get more acclimated with this offense. Defensively, I think we will improve, although I think our greatest deficit there is in overall experience (i.e. Nigel Tribune vs. Texas' Mike Davis).

Although TTU's wins have not been all that impressive in terms of who their opponents were, they have won and done so in mostly convincing fashion. We have failed in this regard. I do think this most recent game leaves a bad taste in our mouths and we play with a lot of anger. That can either help us, or hurt us. Honestly, I think we will be the toughest defense Tech will have faced thus far and I also think we will have the most prolific offense they will have faced given what I've seen out of our Cyclones the last two games.

Not to discredit Tech, but I think we punch Tech in the mouth and come away with a win. We are capable and its time.
