Great job everyone, Naz makin FTs when it mattered, Nader as well, George's with his huge game, Bryce stepping up, monte solid as usual. I LOVE EVERYONE!!!!
Cannot say enough about his performance on both sides of the ball tonight! Holy cow! His defense was top notch and his offense to the rim really made a huge difference. I'll add BDJ to this sentiment as well.
Don't forget Hoguey Badger's 2 huge FT's too! This was a team win if I ever saw one.
I'd still love to see this team put together 2 halves though. Against Kentucky would be a good time to do it. I think we'd beat them playing 2 really good halves of ball.
Agree and agree. Thats two games where Nader and BDJ contributed big time and kept us in the game. That and all of the others stepping up when the pressure was on!!
I agree. I criticized his three-point shooting earlier and he knocked a big one down tonight. Then did everything else well. He showed up big time.
BDJ sucker punched KU when we cut their lead. Was the most athletic player on the court for huge parts of the game.
For similarly built players, BDJ had moments he took over the game and Oubre didn't.
Was that Naz on the Georges-like spinning layup? Naz adding the ability to drive and finish/create would be huge.
He had a couple sweet drives to the basket. Also, he was careful around the baseline where he sometimes steps out. Nader is a drive to the bucket machine.

That was Naz. I thought the same thing! He's been considerably better at taking it to the rim this year, but that was another level on that one!
I'm guilty of the same thing. I would get frustrated when he entered the game but mostly because I knew he was so very capable. Tonight was his night and I'm so very proud of what he did. Hopefully tonight is the beginning of an amazing career wearing the Cardinal and Gold.
Not NEARLY enough love for Nader on here. He was awesome vs Kansas. He played with an intensity and determination I have not seen form him before. He was tough. That spin move to the bucket was insane.
Without Darth Nader showing up big time, would have lost this game. If he and BDJ play that hard, that tough, ISU is going to be really hard to beat by anyone.
