Gravity

That's, like, your opinion.

I would debate this more but I need to let my Ewok out to pee.

How do you define opinion and reality? I'm worried for you.

The storyline was pedestrian at best. Really not that thought provoking in my opinion.

If given the opportunity to see it again for free, I wouldn't.

Star Wars isn't staged on any premise of reality, either.

Seems real to me ...

Saw it this weekend and absolutely enjoyed it. You HAVE to see it in 3D, it just wouldn't be the same experience in 2D. I don't have a vendetta like most people here have against Sandra Bullock, so I thought she was good, too.

I thought the opening scene was great, but...

... the ISS destruction scene and the whole re-entry scene was stellar. I think I took a total of three breaths during the last few scenes.

Also, I didn't even realize that George Clooney's role had been written for Robert Downey Jr. initially. His character makes so much more sense now.

It did not do it for me. You could shoot so many holes in it.

It's just a movie. That's part of what movies are about, stories that may be real, or not. "Holes" could be shot in just about any movie ever made, that doesn't make them bad movies IMO. However, I understand it is your opinion that it "did not do it for you". I hope to see it this week. I will make my own judgement and maybe agree with you, or not.

I hadn't planned to see it until I saw this thread last weekend. Saw it in 3D tonight. Fantastic.

Awesome man, that is why I started this thread, to spread the word so people could catch this and see it in the theatre in 3D as it is meant to be seen.
