Grading ISU Conference Performances

Could you translate for the analytically impaired? Green=good
That graph compares how we were expected to perform offensively and defensively to how we actually performed offensively and defensively each game.

For example, the Iowa game we performed 35.44 less offensively and 20.35 less defensively from the website's expected outcome, easily our worst performance of the year. Conversely we knocked it out of the park against Texas Tech.

TT is really bad, so can’t say we were A+

W and L is all that matters.
They're not really bad though. Kenpom has them as the 63rd best team in the country. Granted that places them as the worst big 12 team, that leaves them better than about 83% of all other teams.

Tech and perhaps Baylor are the two A+ performances we've had this year if you go by the metrics which I've outlined in a post in this thread.

I wanna throw out there that Gabe has sort of taken a Naz step to his game with the drive to the bucket for a not-so-easy layup.

It's happened enough this year already for it to stand out, and I think that helps immensely.
