I still was a bit of a backhanded compliment. Doug was asked if Kentucky had the toughest 2nd round matchup of any of the #1 seeds when they have to play UCONN.
Doug said that they would have the toughest matchup if in fact they played UCONN, but because of our 3 point shooting he was picking us over UCONN. I think he was just stirring the pot because everyone is picking UCONN. I still don't like him and you can't make me! :skeptical:

I was getting exasperated that all of them were talking about "intriguing UConn-UK matchup," then Gottlieb stepped in and said, "It would be, if Kentucky were to actually play UConn.
I laughed.

I'll give Gottlieb this, too: almost no analyst who makes picks all the way through a tourney bracket picks anything more than a 10-7 "upset," despite the fact every tournament has at least a few of them. Doug has already picked two 13's and a 14.

this game comes down to rebounding the basketball
we outrebound Connecticut we win, we get outrebounded by Connecticut we lose.
we can't afford to do Texas (outrebound 1st half and lead, and get outrebounded 2nd half and lose)
it looks like Connecticut is a fairly good rebounding team so if we are hungry on the boards it should he a good game
