Good game.....please destroy TCU!

Thanks for linking to the game for us! You said you'd show it if we promised to let you win, so we did!

Anyways, I thought Tech's D, ISU's D, and Tech's offense all looked good. That leaves ISU's offense. I'm sure Tech's D played a part in it, ISU's offense was bad, bad, bad.
 
I hope the Tech defense is really, really good, because they made the ISU offense look horrible. The ISU defense still gave the team a change to win the the 4th quarter, which is all you can hope for. That INT at mid field that got returned to the 9 was a killer.

I see Tech being about an 8 win team this year. Solid Big 12 team with a good defense
 
Maybe playing cupcakes is the key :jimlad:

Interesting that Knott and Brun said they didnt show any of what they showed in tape during the game really.

I know you've got the jimlad, but I don't think you're far off. Playing cupcakes allows you to be very vanilla, and is a big advantage for Tech when they can come at ISU with new stuff. We didn't have that advantage.

No problem, I would want to see my team play if I didn't have that channel available and was the least I could do for those wanting to see their team play. Pay it forward one day!

I saw that, and I also saw where Seth Doege said that ISU was showing a lot of looks they never showed on film before. Sounds like both coaching staffs pulled out all the stops and really wanted this one.

I thought there was a pretty good coaching stalemate going into half time. Coming out of half-time I think Tech got a lot of their Oline protections straightened out, and then Tech adjusted really well to the zone-read game after Jantz had some success with it. In my opinion Tech outcoached ISU in this game, but it was the first time in 3 years, because we got badly out coached in 2010 & 2011.
 
We just need an O line that blocks and a QB that actually likes to keep the ball and not turn the damn thing over.
 
TT was good.

Too bad the V-12 has so many good teams. Looks like we need to recruit more talent at this point.

I'm willing to bet that your O line looks a lot better in the next game. Texas Tech has a lot more talent and depth on the defensive line than TCU does. That in turn will make your running game also look a lot better against TCU.
 
Really looking forward to playing you guys next week. Should be a good game and don't let the Tech people cloud your view of TCU.
