Golf Slump Suggestions

I've never played as much golf during a summer as I have this summer. With that, I started hitting the ball really well. All of a sudden I can't get the ball off the ground and I dribble it anywhere from left to right. The last four times I have gone golfing have been absolutely brutal and I've broke many a club. Any good golfers out there with suggestions? I know I need to get to the range to get it figured out but its almost just as frustrating.

Go fishing instead, its more relaxing and less expensive.

I play A LOT of golf and I too go through my slumps. Typically my slumps are due to poor ball striking. What always works for me is to go to the driving range and force myself to hit down on the ball rather than pick it or get flippy with the wrists like 90% of amatuers do. The drill which works for me is to use all those broken tees on the driving range, put a tee 3 - 4 inches in front of your ball and force yourself to hit the tee after you've hit the ball. If you are picking or trying to help the ball in the air you can't hit that tee after you've hit the ball. If you are hitting down on the ball like you are suppose to you'll hit the ball first and then the club continues down and forward and hits the tee as well. Your balls will immediately start flying farther and straighter with a lower, piercing trajectory.

Hope this helps!
