Going to the Iowa/Rutgers game today, help me blend in?

It's sad there seems to be more hok talk on here than iowa board's. I guess numerous trolls having numerous handles brings up the traffic.

When there's some minor penalty against Iowa on the far side of the field, stand up, and in your best "I'm outraged" voice, yell "That's the WORST CALL I've ever seen!!!!!"

Give me an S! S!
Give me a U! U!
Give me an N! N!
Give me a J! J!
What's that spell? SUNJ!
Who ya for? SUNJ!
Who's gonna win? SUNJ!

That should do it.

I would have gone too if a friend had an extra ticket and asked me.

Have fun!

:)

If you can fit a box of Franzia in you pants you'll be set.

A buddy scored great tickets to the game today and invited me, and since we’re not playing, I said “sure!” I love CFB and can’t pass up a free ticket. I haven’t been to Kinnick in 15 years, last time didn’t go so well - Clones lost, I got loaded, tried to pick fights with any and all takers (luckily my wife dragged me out...) I promised to wear black today to try and blend in; any other suggestions from hawks that are lurking/trolling? Or anyone from the “I cheer for both except when the play camp?”
A black shirt is a good choice. Any Iowa or Iowa State fan that shows up to either game when they aren't playing wearing their schools stuff is a douche.

When a friend of mine invites me to a game, I wear that team’s shirt regardless of what I think about the team (unless I actually cheer for that specific opposing team all the time). I also cheer for the home team. It’s just respectful, makes the game day more enjoyable, and what I would expect of an Iowa fan if I invited one to a cyclone game. I’ve done it at Iowa and at Nebraska. Both games were more fun for both of us than it would have been if I was invited to the game and cheered against the home team.

Assuming you never actually went to the U of Iowa or did go to UNI, you should fit in well with the crowd.
