Saw that he got dismissed from Georgia Tech's basketball team today. I remember watching him play the past few years and thinking that he was going to be a superstar. This kid has a ton of talent! I'm not sure exactly what his problems were at Georgia Tech but he definitely has the talent level where I wouldn't mind seeing Fred give him a background check. If any team is going to give him a second chance it might as well be us right? Obviously with scholarships and everything this might not work out but I thought it could provide some good discussion on here to keep us from over-analyzing the UConn game. Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure Fred will stay away from him if he was involved in a shooting.

Hold on, the shooting is said to be accidental so I'm not certain that Fred wouldn't at least look into that. I don't know about the other incidents though....

accidental or not....absolutely CFH wont "look into it"....simple answer is "he was involved in a shooting" or answer it with a question "why would he have a gun with him at a nightclub anyways as a college student let alone if his name is plaxico?"

not sure if Fred would take him or not under the right circumstances but with the schollie shortage I doubt we'd send another guy packing to make room for a guy to sit next year. Now if he graduates in the spring that could be a different story.

Three suspensions before the incident? No thanks. Once is an accident, twice is coincidence, but three times is a pattern.

If the kid had the gun legally and the shooting was accidental then he'll get a break from someone. Remember the kid has grown up literally a millionaire, he could be a potential target for a Sean Taylor type of thing, so having a gun is reasonable as long as its legal. With that said FH won't take a look at this kid, he went the transfer route to fill schollies and bring in talent, he's already accomplished both of those things. I'm not saying he won't ever take transfers again but we'll never see it on the scale of the last few years, unless we have some kind of mass exodus of players.

3 suspensions that don't even include the shooting that this kid to a part of in ONE season. He wasn't driving or shooting, but he was still a part of it, so no, Fred should not look at this kid.

Our transfers had a bad rap before they came here and now that they are here, they have shown that you can't judge people so quickly. I was on board when White committed, but was scared that he would be suspended half the year.
