The skibidi toilet is the dumbest sh!t the internet has ever created. That's saying something.
I've said the same thing many times but the "adults" aren't exactly crushing it these days either.
Opening scene in "Idiocracy" explains it best.
Sometimes I'll think about that when I am discussing how we should take action on certain things with my director and have to laugh at myself.

And I think there’s a difference between teens being bad people/“monsters” and teens being immature/annoying. Because all of us were annoying/had weird slang as teens. You grow out of it.
You can’t compare teens to adults, you have have to compare them to other teens. And I’d say teens today are doing pretty well compared to previous generations. For example, they seem much more aware of emotions, mental health, and consent than previous generations.
If I remember correctly, they are also engaging in less sex, and have lower rates of smoking, drinking, and illicit drug use than previous generations
I've been trying for years to bring back "Ace" and "Boss" as superlatives. As in, "This thread is ace." Or, "You're so boss."

at what age did you start saying "who?" anytime a teenager starts talking about popular music artists or tv/movie stars? I hit that age about 10 years ago. I think.
I don't remember what age I was but I do know that it was sometime prior to this century.
Yeah, I see commercials with people like "Ice Spice" or something like that and I'm like WTF. But, everything seems to be hip hop rap these days. Today's youth doesn't appreciate the fine art of hard rock, metal, nu-metal, and grunge rock.
Either rap, hip hop or douche country. The only rock type stuff I hear is from 20 plus years ago.
Try watching the VMAs. I know MTV isn't a trend setter, but being music-industry-adjacent they are still modern. It's like watching a Japanese game show.
"Who is this person? What the heck are they wearing? I can't understand what they're saying. Why are they doing this? What the hell is happening?"
