Georgios in a boot

Doesn't this describe street crossing by every single ISU student?

ISU students can best be described as squirrels. When driving anywhere near campus you have to be ready for one of two things. Either a student makes no attempt to stop and walks directly into traffic or a student approaches a road, stops, look both ways, and then confidently walks directly into traffic.

I haven't been to Europe but I am told there is a significant difference in how traffic laws are viewed over there versus here, especially in Mediterranean Europe. Hopefully he figures this out before he becomes a hood ornament.

In most of Europe cross walks are actually respected by drivers and enforced by the law, even in crazy congested cities like Athens and Rome. I grabbed my friend from Rome out of traffic a couple times when he visited me here because he naturally saw a cross walk and made the mistake of assuming it was there for a reason.

For the first few years I lived in Iowa I would go halfway into a busy street and stand on the line separating traffic, in order to make it across the street quicker. Little did I know that Iowans **** bricks when you do this.

Please don't ever do that when I'm driving. I would definitely **** a brick. I'll try to put a sign on my car so you know it's me :v_SPIN: I hate when people are walking on the road, especially if they are wearing sunglasses and I can't see their eyes.
