Georgios in a boot

@TravisHines21: Iowa State freshman Georgios Tsalmpouris suffered a mild ankle sprain. He's been in a walking boot but expected to shed it today, per ISU.

I heard that Georgios was on the Cy Fan App on his phone, trying to keep up with all the speculation on whether he will play this year or be a tremendous bust, and while not paying attention where he was walking tripped and fell, injuring his foot.

Close, but he actually was about to post a rumor he heard Fred talking to an NBA GM through the office door yesterday.

Eh, not as much of a joke as you might think. Saw him coming from the direction of the rec center a couple of weeks back on my way in to work. Stepped right out into the street from behind a car without looking...car in front of me had to hit the brakes pretty hard to avoid hitting GT. Oh - and someone should probably tell him what a PedX is...cars will be more likely to see him & stop for him if he uses them.

He's twice your height. How much more conspicuous can he be?

Haha I thought about saying he was walking gingerly on it but I thought that might be too far.

Edit: But yes, next time I will just look up the spelling of Tsalmpouris in order to stop making people have heart attacks.

Just call him The Trojan the next time. That's pretty snappy.

Doesn't this describe street crossing by every single ISU student?

I haven't been to Europe but I am told there is a significant difference in how traffic laws are viewed over there versus here, especially in Mediterranean Europe. Hopefully he figures this out before he becomes a hood ornament.

I'm still convinced it's not a walking boot but a trendy European shoe style that hasn't made it's way to the US yet.
