Georges Niang Looks Ready

He looks great! Definitely looks to be in better shape than he was during the Cap City League in the summer IMO

I really like the dribble ability he has. It is not Royce White status yet but when a big can dribble the ball it can create massive match up problems. He might get shown up by a big 12 gaurd picking he pocket a couple time this year but really like that he has that tool comming into the college level.

Super high up side on this kid

He looks good. Offensively when we need scoring Lucious, McGeee, Clyburn, Niang, Percy would be a pretty formidable line up. Defense would be a concern in that front court though.

Depending on the other team's front court we can go Ejim/Booker when we have to defend some scoring bigs and Niang/Percy when the opposition post players are offensively challenged

Why no love for Melvin Ejim in this post................

+ I love how fluid he looks going either left, or right.
+ looks in great shape like he can take the banging of the B12.
+ my only nit-pick concern: seem to barely get above the rim.

His skills remind me of some of the smaller guards we played in a forward position in years past, but he has the size to go with the moves. Hoping he has a great career.

A lot of really good players (past, present, and future) aren't really skywalker types. If that's the biggest nit-pick/concern you have, then we're good to go.

If you have good body position and good timing to go with smooth body control you don't have to jump that high to get layups and rebounds.

His game may not translate into the NBA but he can be a very big time B12 player even though he doesn't jump out of the gym
