Gene Chizik vs. Paul Rhoads

If you want a coach with no respect or love for his team, and only cares about his buddies and his pay check you go Chizik.
 
I am curious how many of Chiziks recruits are on the team yet? I know there are a few, but is it safe to say the majority are McCarney and Rhoads recruits?

Nice and fairly objective article.
 
Chizik only had 2 recruiting classes. The first was full half Juco's, and the Second was a normal class. Then he had about half a class before he left in which Rhoads finished. So all in all, his oldest class are Sophmores minus maybe a few Jucos still left. So by saying that Rhoads is winning with Chizik's recruits is not entirely true, were still winning from McCarney's recruits.

I had this debate with a Hock fan at work yesterday, after he busted out the "he's doing it with Chizik's players" blast.

I can't think of many players that Chizik, and only Chizik, recruited to this program. A-Rob? I think he was already being worked by Mac, not sure. AA certainly was a Mac recruit. Anyone currently on defense? I think Sims was brought in by Chizik's staff. James Smith? Don't know.

Point is, not many players currently out there were brought in solely by Chizik.

So that's 8 of 22 starters (I might be wrong with a couple of those)
 
Really doesn't matter in my opinion as it appears Rhoads is getting every bit as good if not better recruits than Chizik. That and Rhoads seems to be getting more out of everybody!
