GB @ SEA NFC 'SHIP??

Seattle Wins again. The Saints are a better team than the Bears. If Hasselback plays like he did then and not like he played again the Denver Broncos (call out to the op) in week 2.

I'll be @ the game so either way my #1 teams pulls the upset or my #2 moves on.

Saying "If Hasselback plays like he did..." is quite the stretch for a QB some are predicting will either retire or sign with another team as a clipboard holder next year. He had a career game against Seattle, I would be surprised if he performed even 70% as well on Sunday. That said, I'll be cheering for him to do so!

Bronco fan here who dispises Jay Cutler more than Gene Chizik.

I'd love a Seattle upset over Chicago and a GB win. The 7 and 9 Seahawks would host the NFC Championship game.

Does Seattle have any chance at Chicago?
S-Hawks would be 9-9 to be host.

I'm a Bears fan, and I hate Jay Cutler. I've been cheering against him the whole season, because I really wanted us to get a different QB. He acts like a 13 year old girl when he's on the field. Whenever something bad happens, he looks like a spoiled little brat, as if he's saying, "but the defensive back wasn't SUPPOSED to catch the BALL!"

The Seahawks aren't playing at home this week and the Bears actually play defense, something the Saints didn't do last week.

Now that's what I'm talking about. You can't argue his talent, but his attitude is ridiculous.

Why? I would ****** with that idiot of a coach who ran off Cutler, Marshall, and Hillis!

I have been a Bears fan for 25 years. I am constantly amazed at Bears fans who want Cutler to fail. (not a true fan if you ask me) Name a Bears QB that has been better since Jimmy Mac. If you answer this honeslty there is not one. Even good Quarterbacks are hard to find in the NFL. Jay makes mistakes it happens to most QBs. He has had a horrbile OC in Ron Turner and is learning a new system. Ask Shannahan if he wants Jay that is a guaranteed yes. I love how it is ok for favre and brees to throw countless ints and Jay is villified for it. Jay is a solid QB and will get better. Bronco fans need to worry about the debacle they are stuck with. Elway knows nothing, Fox has a .500 record in the league and Tebow is Tebow. Oh and Marshall is gone. lol Mcdaniels got rid of 2 of the hardest positions to find in the NFL QB and WR. Denver will be irrelevant for years.

Having Cutler makes it apparent how bad our QB play has been for years.

Even though I'm a Packers fan, I actually have to root for the Bears in this one. I would rather play the Bears at Soldier than have to play a red hot Seattle team all the way on the West coast. I feel like you need to throw regular season records out the window at this point. The playoffs are all about getting hot at the right moment, and that's what Seattle is doing right now. Just look back a few years to 2007. A 10-6 Giants team ended up beating a 16-0 Patriots team in the Super Bowl. Just got to play your best ball when it counts the most at this point in the year.

You don't sound like a Bears fan...

And guess who just had the best back to back seasons in Chicago Bear history? Yep, Jay Cutler.

Who else do you want?? Not every team can have Peyton Mannings or Tom Bradys at the helm.

Wow, what numbers out there make this statement true? Is it the fact that Drew Brees threw 6 more interceptions than Jay Cutler did in the 2010 regular season? That Matt Forte ran for more yards in 2010 than the top 2 Saints rushers combined in '10? Or is it the fact that the Bears were 4th in the NFL giving up just 17.9 points a game? Oh, it has to be that the Seahawks don't have to worry about the Bears return game like they did the Saints. Even though Devin Hester took a punt for back for a touchdown against Seattle in week 6. Hester even told Pete Carroll in pregame warm ups that he was going to take one back.

While just about every one of his 16 interceptions this year were boneheaded, even the most hating have to admit Cutler has taken better care of the ball this year.

Even I hated Jay Cutler once. I hated him before the trade to Chicago was made. I thought he was overrated coming to Chicago, and last year he did a fine job of proving me right. It wasn't until past the midpoint of this season that I really started to back off on my criticism of Cutler.

It's one thing to have a 7-9 team make the playoffs but this 7-9 was beyond bad. In the nine losses, none were closer than 15 points, in the weakest division in history. A 15 point loss in the NFL is borderline blowout and the Seachickens lost all nine games that way.

I'm in no way proclaiming the Bears to be a great team or a sure thing but the "other" Seattle team could easily show up.
