Bronco fan here who dispises Jay Cutler more than Gene Chizik.

I'd love a Seattle upset over Chicago and a GB win. The 7 and 9 Seahawks would host the NFC Championship game.

Does Seattle have any chance at Chicago?

This game will be a rematch from Week 6, when Seattle beat Chicago (in Chicago) 23-20.

The Bears had a whopping 61 rushing yards that game, 19 of which came from Jay Cutler.

They won in Chicago earlier this year and I really feel like Cutler is going to try and "take over the game" at any time. If they got out to a good start and kept it close it could be interesting..

That said, no, they have no chance this week. It was fun while it lasted

Actually, the 9 and 9 Seahawks would host the game.

Serious Question. Why do you despise him more than CHizik. Sure he asked to be traded but that was not until the boy genius lied straight to his face about wanting to get Cassel. I would be mad about that and also the fact that my coach thought Cassel was a better qb than me, which is not true in Cutlers case.

I could definitely see the Seahawks winning this one, but Chicago is better than they were early in the season. I could definitely see a Bears/Packers rematch in the NFC title game, but even as I am rooting for the Bears, part of me would rather play Atlanta on the road than the Packers at home.

The Bears offensive line back in week 6 was a sad sack of ****. While they're still one of the worst offensive lines in the league, they are playing worlds better.

The Bears did only run for 61 yards in their loss against the Seahawks, but they also only ran the ball 14 times. Since their bye week in week 8, the Bears have the run the ball more than 20 times for over 100 yards in 8 of their 9 games since the bye week.

NFL Playoffs: Chicago Bears' Jay Cutler not a likable player - ESPN Rick Reilly's column says is all for me. He was a punk in Denver. The reference to the lunch with Shanny and Elway where Cutler gazes off at the TV.

I was just about to post the same article. I don't like Reilly much, but I think he does a good job of explaining how Cutler has a way of getting on people's nerves a little bit.

Another big reason for me is I was a Bronco fan living in Chicago when the trade took place. I never really liked Cutler, but to trade him like that to the city I was in was like breaking up with a girlfriend and having her move in with your neighbor. Amplified the hate in my situation.

I think Seattle is a dangerous team right now and I really don't think the Bears are all that good. Seattle has nothing to lose and the Bears are worried about getting embarrassed at home.

The game in Atlanta worries me though. The Falcons are for real.

seattle has no chance this game. Bears will roll 31-20 and I cannot wait to play GB in chicago for the nfc championship.

and if you bring up the week 6 game, remember bears were without starting RG Roberto Garza and the rest of line that had been completely reshuffled and Lance Briggs was injured very early in that game and there is a reason he is a pro bowler, completely different defense with him in there. BEAR DOWN!

and regarding cutler despite all the generally sour disposition is really a good guy, last year I sent letter requesting autographs to 14 bears players, only response I got back was Cutler sent back autographed card within a couple of weeks. he also does a lot for charity he just doesn't flaunt it.

Rick Reilly is a hack. Cutler didn't look John Elway in the eyes, oh no, he's a punk. Let's ask some Colts fan what they think about Elway, pretty sure lots of people thought he was a little ***** for most of his career. Sounds like he does a lot of charity work and doesn't seek attention for it. I respect that a lot more than the charity work a lot of athletes do where they need to make sure the media knows about it and is there to document it.

Maybe Jay should keep it to raping girls in club bathrooms, killing dogs, or running over people with his car when he's drunk. Because that arrogant lack of eye contact and unexplained facial expressions are just TOO much!

Maybe not the best source, but this gives the other side to the story:

Jay Cutler Isn't Gregarious, So What?

Not arguing with you here! I actually thought it was funny that Reilly (someone who I consider to have a "holier than thou" complex) wrote an article about Cutler having a bad attitude. Pot meet Kettle.

I was going to link the article because it does help explain why he seems to rub some people the wrong way. I'm not comparing Cutler's smirk and shrug routine to Vick, Roethelisburger, or Ray Lewis, but I don't have to like him. He won FB games, but I was happy when new broke that the Broncos were going to trade him - just not happy that he ultimately landed in my backyard.

Yeah that was more directed at Rick Reilly than you. I just dislike how the media tries to paint athletes as either good or bad guys. I really don't care what kind of person most athletes are, I'm good with the fact that the majority of pro, and even college athletes, are kind of ********. That personality trait generally comes with the hyper competitiveness that it takes to get to that level. The media is responsible for building up these false images of a lot of athletes, and then fans are shocked when their favorite player turns out to be an alcoholic, drug user, or adulterer.

I just want the guys I root for to stay out of jail, don't embarrass your team, and play hard. I don't need to find out what kind of people they really are.

The Bears are light-years ahead of where they were in week 6. Martz has actually figured out how to run the ball and the offense is balanced right now. If this game was in Seattle, I'd give the Seahawks a good chance but being in Chicago with the Bears completely healthy (Briggs didn't play in Week 6 game) and playing their best football of the season, I think they win this one.

Count me in for wanting a Bears-Packers NFC Title Game...that would be epic!

Seattle Wins again. The Saints are a better team than the Bears. If Hasselback plays like he did then and not like he played again the Denver Broncos (call out to the op) in week 2.

I'll be @ the game so either way my #1 teams pulls the upset or my #2 moves on.
