Gastroparesis

Someone wasn’t being honest with their physician then. While CHS is rare the symptoms are quite different especially for severe cases of gastroparesis. CHS occurs quite randomly and we have no idea why it effects certain individuals but if someone stops taking cannabis for 7-10 days their symptoms completely go away. Should be one of the first things a physician discusses if someone presents with those symptoms and admits to being a frequent cannabis user.

It has to do with overstimulation of the TRPV1 cannabinoid receptor. That receptor is in charge of regulating gastric functions and is stimulated by cannabinoids and capsaicin. The working theory is that the receptor just wears out with tolerance buildup. This is why it rebounds when you stop using weed.

Also, in theory you could get this condition from using CBD. Its not about THC, all cannabinoids can cause the condition.

Yeah no one really knows for sure what causes gastroparesis. The majority of people who have it are also diabetic but there are also links to abdominal surgery or various nerve conditions in the stomach. Sucks to not be able to get a solid answer.
Given the high rate of obesity in this country I have to think if you throw children out of the statistics, the majority of the country is either diabetic or pre-diabetic

Sorry but the second part just isn’t true, you cannot get CHS with only CBD products. I don’t believe there has been a single confirmed case of that yet. That being said the awareness of the condition is very new and there is extremely limited research on it. Many people use cannabis products to actually treat various stomach ailments like GERD but there just aren’t enough studies yet to form solid positions.

Sadly with each passing year the rates among children continue to rise. Might not even have to exclude them to make your point.

Veggies you don't have to chew, much? You mean like softer ones like cucumbers or so? Trying to think of the non-firm ones that would fall in that area.
She eats cooked canned green beans, artichoke hearts, and wax beans I think. Also cooked asparagus tips. I think maybe I have seen her eat cooked beets but maybe that was something else making the smoothie purple
