Maybe that would be a cool message, nobody showing up. Honestly like that idea.
People need to stop the holier than thou schtick. I get- I'm pissed at ESPN as well. But our situation is what it is, and this exposure can only be positive. Would you honestly rather not have Ames, JTS, and Matt Campbell's Cyclones featured all Saturday? Give it a rest.
I get it. But You can’t blame people for being upset with ESPN.
Yay! We get featured all day while they send us to G5 status and hear about how we don’t belong. Whatever
OU and TX could have told ESPN to **** off. Those schools (especially OU) are long time fellow conference members. ESPN doesn’t owe anyone **** they are just doing what is best for business, because they are a business.
I just hate that we again have to share our national stage with those aholes from Iowa *****. After this weekend it will be 3 hours of how great Iowa is and how bad we looked today.

Wether you like it or not, this is great exposure for the Cyclones.
Well it is going to depend how people act I would think.
If people go full tool mode, exposure would not be too great.

I'd be OK with that. He'd pick ISU. His fame has worn off lately but unless they are bringing in Dan McCarney or some former ISU player he's still a better pick than some random celeb like Eric Church was.
This is good for ISU. Yeah **** ESPN for everything with the big 12, but throwing vitriol at the cast and having a poor showing is a 'cut off your nose to spite your face' move. I hope they spend more time telling the Jack Trice story this time.
I hate this too. I said the same thing 2 years ago too that I would rather they come during a big conference game so we are the main feature and not have to share the spotlight with the hawks.
Parking was a mess last time. We were backed up on Duff hours in advance to get parked in the GA lot and pretty much got parked less than an hour before they went on air. Hope they are better prepared this time.
