Stillwater Oklahoma
This is my first post, so hey to everyone on the site. I'm a professor at Oklahoma State who grew up in Iowa (Centerville) and follow both programs and have been a longtime cyclone fan. I came across a series of articles from some OSU writers about the upcoming season where they look at all the games of the conference each week (Here's the link)

Thought you might find it interesting. They are up to week 9 of the season at this point. Go Clones!

Great read, well written and thought out.

Thanks for posting and welcome aboard!

Thanks! My dad’s side of the family is from Centerville. I love Pancake Day!

Iowa State at Kansas

Kansas may have just watched Missouri fall to Nebraska, but will have to keep pace in the Big 12 North no matter who wins.

Todd Reesing will be getting into a grove just as the Big 12 season starts. And by this time in his career, Reesing may not even need play calling from coach Mike Mangino.

Iowa State started out the season strong, but don’t be surprised to see them match last year’s conference win total of zero.

Final score: Kansas 31, Iowa State 13
Mark Mangino's younger, slimmer brother?

I think Scott Nulph used to be the sports editor of the Ames Tribune. I could be wrong, however.

I like it. I'm salivating at the prospect of being 5-4 through the first 9 games. And the best part is that it's realistic, at least IMO. The question is whether it's realistic to see us winning that all-important sixth game.
