Furnace question

Probably the fresh air unit that controls how much air is brought in from outside. Mine doesnt look like that but I turned mine off years ago.

Yep this is right.


Can probably do some googling to see what it should be set at.
 
Looks like a low voltage damper regulator. My basement is open ceiling with manual dampers.
Basically if you never use a room, you can send minimal air/heat to it.
In the winter we adjust dampers to send more hot air to main level, in summer we adjust it to send more cool air to upper level.
