Fun Question: Pick a Rhoads Player

Dream world I know but adding KO, A.J. Klein, Butler, Leonard Johnson and Van Der Kamp to next year's roster and we'd be competing for the crown again!;-)

I know it's fantasy land, but imagine adding those three pros and two other big time contributors like those 5 to next year's roster. Hope we can pick up some of these transfer players like OU's Stogner!

It was amazing how bad people criticized Miller on here, even into his senior year when he was playing well. Maybe the strangest thing was people somehow were watching our games (apparently) and were drawing the conclusion that Miller sucked and the younger Knott bro was really good. Maybe Knott would've ended up pretty good, but when they played at the same time Miller was ISUs best LB and it wasn't close.

Miller got a real raw deal on here. He and Richardson seemed to take the brunt of the Rhoads era folding.
Maybe from morons. Miller wasn't much to write about until his senior year and Sam had three OC's during his time. Plus Rhoads was a terrible coach for offense. Not sure why they got blamed for the coaching failures but hindsight is 20/20.

I just remember Knott making all the flashy plays and getting all the tackles. Then the noticeable drop off when he had to miss games and Jevohn Miller filled in.
Klein had over 100 tackles in each of his last 3 seasons. He also had at least one pick-six in each of his last 3 seasons. Oh yeah, he won Big 12 defensive player of the year too.

Not a Rhoads guy but Berryman would have insane stats playing on this defense.

He's also STILL playing in the NFL.

Underrated Rhoads player was Jeremy Reeves. What an athlete.

My main picks would be Osemele, Klein. Followed by Leonard Johnson, Carter Bykowski, Tom Farniok, Jake Knott, Bundrage.

David Irving. I personally think he'd thrive under Campbell.

Little AJ Klein tidbit: If you haven’t watched or listened to the interview AJ did with WRNL guys, AJ tells a pretty funny story at about Wally Burnham and his pick 6 record (start at minute 29:00)

Well yea, because both weren’t big 12 caliber players. You can say Miller was better than Luke Knott, but neither would sniff special teams now. And I will never forget Richardson taking a sack on 4th down in the 2014 K-State game where he didn’t see the corner blitz that left his WR completely wide open for a first down.

Just because they were the best the old staff could put on the field doesn’t mean they were any good.

Anyone saying AJ Klein as if Jake Knott wasn't the better college LB'er of the two must have been hit on the head one too many times (sorry, Jake).

Give me 2 on offense: Osemele and E.J. Bibbs (big Kolar shoes to fill, not sure the replacement is currently on the roster)

Defense: Give me Knott and Jomal Wiltz (now Perry).

I believe A.J. won big DPOY his senior year.

This team is absolutely hurting for playmakers at WR next season. Hutch, milton, scates all leaving. Gotta go with Lazard if we only get one player. 1A would be KO.

I think the Offense needs playmakers, defense will be ok even with all of the attrition.
