Fruit attack

So I work at UDCC, the dining center for Friley, Helser, Eaton, etc. I walk in to work today and all the fruit carts and fresh fruit were missing. I thought that was strange, so I asked a manager what was up.

Apparently management noticed a dramatic increase in fruit consumption. They had students ask around and this what they heard.

Word on the street is that students have been stockpiling tons of fruit and are planning on throwing it at Nebraska fans this Saturday. Which is why management has pulled fresh fruit from all the dining centers, or at least UDCC.

Did the same thing back at Clyde Williams ...........great fun. Remember that we pelted CU's Ralphie and he went nutz and escaped. We hit Devaney in the back of the head one year as well. --- great memories.

LOL I remember taking lunch trays from the U-**** and using them to sled down hills in the winter time. The fruit idea seems like more fun though, as long as it doesnt rot.

Dumb. When I was there we had competitions to see who could sneak out the most fruit without anyone saying anything. We kept a huge fruit stash in our room for snacks and junk...

I'm pretty sure keeping fruit to throw at Nebraska fans is less dumb than just stockpiling it.

I always wanted to have a group of people sneak snow into the UDCC and build a snowman on one of the tables, but it didn't come to pass before I graduated. If someone makes this dream come true this winter and posts pictures on CF, I'll be very grateful.

It's pretty easy to see which posters aren't in college anymore.

Nothing wrong with good clean college pranks. But an apple or orange to the head or face could seriously injure someone. "Nebraska fans" is going to include senior citizens, children, babies, etc. Really? It's just a horrible idea.
